IPD set up a new online training program for entrepreneurs of small and medium sized enterprises in the wood sector. The courses are easy to access, convenient to operate, presented by experienced trainers, use mobile technology, have small tests for learning control and are based on a modular system. All set up in a professional, interactive online training tool.
Aim of the trainings is to build up and strengthen export fitness of SME’s in the wood working sector in producing countries by sharing knowledge about markets, products, technologies and requirements.
Each individual sub-step consists of a 5 – 10 minutes filmed presentation moderated and explained by one of the experts. At the end of each step, a test with multiple choice questions and short written answers should be completed.

The aim of the course is to introduce the students into the basic porperties of the wood material and understand the importance of specific attributes

It handles basic forestry, forest management and certification and legality requirements in the global markets. Aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge about different forest resources, the management systems and the requirements of sustainability lab3els and legality schemes in the different market places.
